Our Specialty Is People.

Since 1989 Santa Cruz County Builders, Inc has been building new homes and remodeling existing in Santa Cruz County. We are a family owned and operated business for the last 37 years. Thomas Kern, with Miles Kern and Spencer Kern now operate Santa Cruz County Builders, Inc.

Our specialty is people. When we build an entire home it requires a lot from everyone. We enjoy the interaction with the owners while managing projects very closely.  

Our sub contractors are part of our family. We prefer to use the same people from job to job in order to get the quality and loyalty each project requires.

We are incredibly grateful and excited that our two sons have decided to partner with my wife and I to bring Santa Cruz County Builders into the next chapter. We look forward to helping you with your next new home or remodel.
